Past Project Experience
Will Leather Goods– Detroit, MI – Project Manager, Project Engineer & Surveyor for this unique retail property situated in Mid-town Detroit. SEG provided topographic & Boundary Survey services as well as the design of all site work features including the new parking lot, sidewalks, and utility services. The site is located at the corner of Second Avenue and Alexandrine. We are proud to have been involved in the renovation of the former Tomboy Market into a truly unique and vibrant property situated in an area that is evolving quickly on the edge of Midtown from an area of former urban decay to that of a bustling and upscale place to live, work and shop. It was a rewarding experience working with Midtown Detroit and McIntosh Poris Architects to bring this development to Detroit.
Botsford Hospital MRI Addition – Farmington Hills,MI – Project Manager & Project Engineer for this 4,000 sf addition to the main hospital located along the north side of Grand River Avenue, west of Inkster Road. The project included renovation of the existing parking lot as well as providing all new pedestrian walks and landscape design. The project also included a Public Water Main Permit for the relocation of an existing water main located within the proposed addition area. Extensive coordination was required with the City of Farmington Hills Fire Department to ensure that the fire suppression system at the hospital building remained in service while the main was relocated (additional valves were added to the lines as well). We provided a new water main easement over the relocated line as well as 2,500 lineal feet of water main easements around the entire main hospital campus, which were dedicated to the City after many years as a private water main system. Site permits included Engineering Plan Approval (City of Farmington Hills), and public water main permit (MDEQ).
